Faster Gun's "Back Again".

"Back Again marks Regina-based group Faster Gun’s third album release – and as the title suggests, it’s been awhile, but they have returned. The group was last heard nationally in mid-2003 with their single release, The Finger (A Finger With A Ring), which did quite well on the charts, but surprisingly was not followed-up upon until the recent release of Faster Gun’s new single, You’re Back Again, heralding the launch of this latest album."

Your's truely has been recently added to the SMCA's Seminar list. Bart McKay, Sean Hogan and myself will be conducting the " Taking the Mystery Out of the Studio" Seminar on Saturday April 14 at 12:15 - 1:15pm. I look forward to answering some questions and meeting alot of you.

Dan Reynish of CBC's Saskatchewan Weekend Show was in the studio recently to interview Tom Ehman about his new cd and to get a sneak peak of the new material. The interview will air April 1 at 8:15 a.m.

The boys have now released there 2nd single nation wide entitled "AFTER YOU". Be sure to call your local radio station to request it. Also the first single "Your Back Again" has been added to the Sask JUNO compilation cd.

Tom & I have started work on his 4th CD. This is a fun project due to the fact that we have Garry Tallent (bassists for Bruce Springsteen E Street Band) lined up to lay down bass for the entire album, and we also have Russell Broom (Jann Arden's Guitar Player/Producer) lined up to provide guitar on a couple of tracks. These guys will compliment Tom's style of songwriting greatly and we are looking forward to working with them. Stylistically this project is one i've been wanting to do for a long time and Tom has stepped up with some great material to make it happen.

A while back i had the great fortune to Produce Faster Guns latest album "Back Again". And there's been all sorts of pleasent outcomes the latest being Dean Kush making it to the SEMI FINALS at the 2006 INTERNATIONAL SONGWRITING COMPETITION for the song "Your Back Again".

Eli Nickford came to me just just before X-Mas with a guitar and some great lyrics to a song he had written called "Walking Down 4th Line". He had asked me to Produce the idea into a full band arrangement and so we got to work. I'm very pleased to announce that Eli has since sent his song to the "2006 Singer/Songwriters Awards" and was given an Honorable Mention. That's quite an accomplishment considering that the contest hosts applications from 88 countries world wide!

Mark Stephenson has been making big noise with his amp and pedal product line. His amps have been featured on recordings by Shania Twain UP! cd, Nickelback's Silver Side Up, and Billy Talent's CD's ,Video's, and Live Shows including a performance on "The Jay Leno Show".
So when Mark was seeking out where to get his sound bytes done for his latest product the "Stage Hog" he left it in my hands.....NICE! I've rounded up Jack Semple, Kevin Schultz, and yours truely to put the "Stage Hog" thru it's paces and come up some unique and thorough sound and video clips that are featured on his website.

Faster Gun's "Back Again" has recieved it's fair share of nominations for this years SCMA's Awards.
